‘EMBER’ NEW DOWNLOAD SINGLE OUT NOW AND STREAMING ON SOUNDCLOUD

‘Ember’ is the follow up to ‘If I (Was)’ by Pantaleimon, (AKA singer Andria Degens), and is the second single to be lifted from the new album ‘The Butterfly Ate The Pearl’. The new single includes an exclusive alternative mix by Hugo Race and Franco Naddei ‘Ember - The Glow Mix’.

Featured on this track are James Blackshaw - guitar & organ, Steve Finnerty (Alabama 3) - guitar, Jay Darlington (Oasis) - Mellotron & Moog, Paul Phillips - lap steel guitar, Otto Hauser (Vetiver) - drums, and Dan Price - bass.

‘The Butterfly Ate The Pearl’ is the fourth long player from Pantaleimon. Recorded at her home studio Hastings, England between 2011/12. The album was co-produced and mixed with Hugo Race at Cosabeat Studio in Italy. ‘The Butterfly Ate The Pearl’ is a natural progression of sound, with a laid back electro-psychedelic feel, but with that hypnotic, magical quality that Degens has become known for. It is, without doubt, her most accomplished album to date.

Album is out now on Grass Girl Music GGM009CD/LP/D.

PANTALEIMON ‘EMBER’ NEW DOWNLOAD SINGLE OUT 23RD SEPTEMBER 2013

‘Ember’ is the follow up to ‘If I (Was)’ by Pantaleimon, (AKA singer Andria Degens), and is the second single to be lifted from the brand new album ‘The Butterfly Ate The Pearl’. The new single includes an exclusive alternative mix by Hugo Race and Franco Naddei  ‘Ember (‘The Glow Mix)’.

Featured on this track are James Blackshaw (guitar & organ), Steve Finnerty (guitar), Jay Darlington (Mellotron & Moog), Paul Phillips (Lap steel guitar), Otto Hauser (Vetiver) on drums, and Dan Price (bass).

‘The Butterfly Ate The Pearl’ is the fourth long player from Pantaleimon. Recorded at her home studio on the South Coast of England during a period of a year. Degens says of that time, “It was a particularly intense period – going through separation/divorce, building my life back up from zero, and living an almost hermit like existence to do so – the studio environment suited me very well then, like my own little cocoon.”. Eventually she came out the other side with an album quite different from the rest.
